It has merely been waiting.
My name is John A. Montague—founder of the Montague Society and the
first to carry the title of Keeper. I came to Niagara from Scotland
many years ago and found here something greater than treasure: a place
whose wonders reveal themselves only to those willing to observe.
The Society was formed to preserve those wonders, record their
histories, and leave discoveries for generations yet to come. Its
Keepers remain unnamed. Its marks remain hidden throughout Niagara.
The first key lies where water bends, stone remembers, and a black
watcher opens his beak.
